Launching Rêveur Vintage

It’s finally here. The lovechild of my obsessive creativity... the project that has rattled around in my frenetic head like a rogue ping pong ball for what feels like forever...

It has been a grueling year of researching, sourcing, designing, becoming a “spreadsheet person” and generally losing myself to complete pandemonium on the daily, between this, school, and my full-time job. But it is worth it to say that I built something out of nothing. From the website, to the branding, to the unboxing, to the photography, every aspect of this project belongs to me, was pored over by me, and because of that it stands as one of my favorite accomplishments to date.

That isn’t to say I had no help or sources of inspiration. My amazing friends and family inspire me constantly, more than they will ever even know. And not to mention other business owners whom I have watched flourish and who have inspired me to realize, hey, I can actually do something I enjoy. I set out to prove to myself that I could build a business that serves people and offers a unique experience in my own voice, revolving around something I love and feel strongly about, and I’ve managed to do that.

I’m so excited to announce the launch of Rêveur Vintage, a seasonal offering of quality vintage clothing and accessories, sourced and curated into beautiful, convenient collections for you, by yours truly. To learn more about the why’s of Rêveur, feel free to have a look at our Narrative and Sustainability pages.

Inspired by my interest in the intersection of classic and unconventional style, Rêveur is a reflection of my beliefs about clothing: That it should be both accessible and of lasting quality, and speak loudly about who we are as women. My hope is that you will honor the women who wore these pieces in decades past, and their stories, by weaving your own into their fabrics.
